Dr. Manning is a Diplomate of the American Board of Phlebology, the American Board of Anesthesiology, and the American Board of Pain Medicine. After completing medical school at the University of Mississippi (1991), Dr. Manning completed his internship at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN (1992). He and Scarlette then moved to Winston-Salem, NC where he began his anesthesia residency at Wake Forest.

The anesthesia residency program at Wake Forest is among the top anesthesia programs in the country. Dr. Manning completed his anesthesia and pain training at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, NC (1995). Dr. Manning founded the pain management program at Methodist Hospital in Jackson, MS before joining the staff at St. Dominic’s Hospital as an anesthesiologist.

He has a tradition of leadership, having served as president of Physicians Anesthesia Group at St. Dominic’s Hospital and as president of the Mississippi Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Manning was trained in phlebology by Dr. John Kingsley at the Alabama Vascular and Vein Center in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Kingsley was an internationally recognized expert in the field of phlebology. Dr. Manning furthered his phlebology training by becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Phlebology. He is also a member of the American College of Phlebology and the Mississippi State Medical Association. Dr. Manning is a recognized expert in the field of phlebology and is a frequent guest speaker on the subject at medical conferences throughout the state. Dr. Manning founded Mississippi Vein Institute in 2008 and has successfully performed thousands of endovenous laser procedures. Dr. Manning is committed to achieving exceptional treatment results for his patients. His diverse medical training ensures a high degree of safety for his patients during all procedures performed at Mississippi Vein Institute. Dr. Manning has been married since 1987 and has 2 sons, 1 daughter and 1 grandson. He grew up in the Mississippi Delta (Drew) on a cotton farm. Interesting fact: Dr. Manning is a member of the Manning clan that includes Archie, Peyton, and Eli Manning.

Dr. Adams is a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology. After completing medical school at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana (1991), Dr. Adams completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (1992). He completed his residency in anesthesia at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi (1995). Dr. Adams has been a distinguished member of the following medical organizations: The American Medical Association, The Mississippi Medical Association, The American College of Phlebology. Dr. Adams was trained in the management and treatment of venous and lymphatic medicine by Dr. John Kingsley an internationally recognized expert, at the Alabama Vascular and Vein center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Adams joined Dr. Manning at Mississippi Vein Institute in 2011 and has since performed thousands of endovenous laser procedures. Dr. Adams has over twenty three years of combined experience providing anesthesia and taking care of venous diseases of the legs. Dr. Adams is committed to a safe and comfortable medical experience at Mississippi Vein Institute with results that will be second to none. Dr. Adams grew up in Tallulah, Louisiana and presently lives in Madison, Mississippi. He enjoys spending outdoor time with his three children.
